My dad, (retired now) was a truck driver for many years. He has some crazy stories to tell, but the favorite that I remember was on one trip, he stopped at a truck stop and there was a couple there actually selling their baby for drugs! My father was appalled and went ahead and bought the baby to protect it and get it right out of that environment. The next thing you know, he was calling my mom and asked her if he could bring the baby home! :) He has a huge heart! Of course, my mother said "no honey, you really need to call the police/social services, you just can't bring a baby home". So that's what he did...and he saved that baby's life.
